The Black Mannequin!

Angelina Jolie looking amazing in Paris.    [x17]
~~~~~~~
The City-
This episode was GREAT! Such a cliff hanger... mentioned on Fashionista + New York Magazine.
[mtv]
-Why is Olivia just SO cute in the
furry vest? She's probably the only person that can pull that off.
-Allie is really pretty. I really don't know why I didn't see it before.
-Whitney sure does get into a lot of stuff, but I felt like Olivia
was a little cold when she said to stay out of it, even though
it probably would have been better than confronting Jay(?).
-I think Adam is full of crap. Allie, come on.
-I really wish the episodes were longer. So much left hanging over...
BTW- LOVE this from NY Mag.
~~~~~~~
Recent Purchase-
I'm SO excited!!! I just bought a full-blown mannequin! When I saw it on ebay, I just needed it. I can't wait till it comes and I can dress it up. (Is that weird?)

I feel horrible for Alexandra Tomlinson who fell at the Chanel show. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of her:

Inauguration Day!!! (+ The City Update)

Inauguration Day 2005      [source]
~~~~~~~
When I checked my e-mail this afternoon, I opened up this cool link to this wordle of Obama's speech. I'm really glad we were allowed to watch it in school! So here it is:
~~~~~~~
The City-
[mtv]
1- Erin's coat in Central Park is gorgeous! I LOVE it!!!
2- Whitney's grey sweater headband is not very attractive at all...
3- Adam is totally cute, but I'm so confused by his and Allie's relationship confuses me so much. He was so into the girls at that club and the next day he picks her up at the airport and tells her he loves her. Ugh. Then, they were SO cute together in the car after he told her about it (a very vague version).
4- I'm still iffy on them, but I love that all the girls had that talk with her and confronted her about Adam.

Something old. Something New.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, everyone loves it. Ashley Banks (played by Tatyana Ali) was always my fashion icon (even thought Hillary had the attitude).  Here is a glimpse of her past fashions:
~~~~~~~
Selena Gomez-
She is probably my favorite Disney Princess (though unfortunately she did the singing thing- I think that those who don't sing shouldn't try just because they have expensive equipment to make them sound better....). At the premier of Hotel for Dogs (January 15th), she looked completely adorable and stopped to sign some autographs. Love.
~~~~~~
Barnes & Noble-
Since I live in the middle of nowhere (our closest mall is a half an hour away), there isn't a Barnes & Noble anywhere within an hour of me. I would have totally travelled for it too, because of this bag. I don't care if it's a "knockoff," it's adorable and functional and I want it.

Overdue.

The City Notes-
[Source- MTV]
(January 12th)
1- Whitney's gold studded shoes at the DVF party. Oh man. Love.
2- Chris is CUTE! (But Jay? How could she just... have lunch...?)
3- Erin + Duncan just have an awkward relationship...
4- I want Whitney and Jay to work. I really do. But, I just feel like she is screwing herself over there. (Even when he asked her to be his girlfriend? I expected her to just be happier.)
5- Jay is possibly the cutest person ever. Period. I love him. That dinner killed me... So adorable.

I'm wishing wishing wishing for warm weather. Winter is such a bummer in Ocean City. Especially in school, when I'm staring out the window at the freaking Ferris Wheel. So, I'm ogling so many dresses that I just had to share some favorites with you!

Lover- They have such sweet dresses and outfits in their spring collection. I'm completely in love.    [Link]

Olivia Palermo mad WWWD's girl of the month. I completely love her style and think she is beautiful. Hopefully The City becomes as popular as it should be and she gets the recognition. I'm looking forward to see what else she will wear. Especially in the summer.
~~~~~~~
My room is the kind of room that is decked out from floor to ceiling with posters, mirrors, furniture, clothes, and everything else I can cram in. It's a pretty small room, so my double bed is lofted (I am writing this under my bed...). So I always look at furniture at PBteen and wish that my room was big enough to fit it. This is my most recent favorite find. =)
PBteen Display-It Storage Mirror ($599.99)
(Even if I had the space, I guess it would be a matter of finding $600 to shell out.)
Spring is in the Air...
Urban Outfitters just put up some of their new Spring clothing on their website. It is actually causing me physical pain to picture every single thing on the beach in the summer. Oh man... Can't wait for the warm weather.
Nothing makes you miss the sun as much as this july post on Fashionista. Its one of my favorite snapshots with two of the cutest outfits. I miss summer =(
2 Etsy Finds+The City
The Lake by David Vasiljevic       [fotodecadent]
~~~~~~~
Etsy Find (another at bottom!)- itsalovelycake was actually advertised on one of the ads on the side of your facebook page. I happened to click it and look around. They make this beautiful handmade jewelry. I wish I had the talent to do anything half as great as that. Here are a few of my favorites (and the bracelet is my favorite. ever.).
~~~~~~~
The City- I watched this show for the first time last night. I have to say that I actually liked it. The outfits were cute and so were the boys. So here are just a few comments....
- Whitney bought the ugliest couch for her house ever.
- (while walking in park) Whitney- "knock on wood" "no wood to knock on"..... you are in a park. That is a tree 10 feet behind you.
- I am completely jealous of the view they had on that walk.
-Jay looks like Joe Jonas. There is no denying it. And the thing is, if Joe Jonas grows up to look like that. Man. He would be a POPULAR man. But, Jay's accent obviously makes him the top pick.
- Olivia is the most gorgeous person ever. And she should get her own show. I would watch.
~~~~~~~
Completely OBSESSED with this shirt. I love the collar, color, and fabric. Not to mention the cut is very forgiving. Oh man I need that summer job to start now.

Gotta love Etsy for making your mouth water.

So lately I have been catching up with school, the some well deserved rest. Unfortunately (but VERY good)
I got a lead in the spring musical this year!!!!! But, blogging will suffer much. (Not that I have much to
add to.) Just a warning.....
~~~~~~~
Oh if I only had $400-$500 dollars to shell out at Ralph Lauren.
